Reviewing our organizational structure
In October 2021, Barco decided to replace its fully-fledged matrix organization by a more focused model. In the past, geographic regions handled sales, marketing and customer service functions and interacted with business units in the operational divisions. Under the revised structure, regional sales are folded into in the business units together with sales, product management, and research & development. In addition, more general functions like services, sales support, operations, digitization, finance, HR, legal and Barco Labs will be managed on a global level:
